Our Roast Styles
The two available roasting styles from Anamorphic are meant to represent our approach to roasting coffee.
We give you the option to choose what you’d prefer, based on which brewing method you use and your flavour preference.
Our Light roast approach reduces some development character, for a more clear and transparent picture of the green coffee. More floral and tea-like properties are apparent that would otherwise be lost to the roast.
It’s our preferred method of roasting, but it doesn’t always play well with All-In-One machines, and may take extra effort and patience for the coffee to shine.
We like to rest these for 4 weeks post roast date, and find they can be enjoyed for months after roasting.

Omni-roasting is a catch-all term that means you can use this coffee as espresso or filter. It goes without saying that you can use any coffee for whatever brew method you want, but this roast style is aimed at an easier extraction.
More development time means more solubility, and greater initial intensity. These roasts are best when they are rested for 2 weeks.
While more developed than our Light roasts, the focus remains on clarity rather than roast character.
