This coffee comes from Bukeye Hills in Muramvya Province, Burundi, produced by the Long Miles Coffee Project. Grown at around 1760 MASL, this washed Bourbon lot represents a regional blend of coffees from multiple smallholder farms that Long Miles partners with, offering a broader snapshot of Muramvya’s character rather than a single microlot.

The cherries are selectively harvested and carefully washed using Long Miles’ meticulous processing standards. Clean fermentation and slow drying preserve clarity and structure in the cup, allowing the coffee’s natural sweetness and delicate aromatics to shine.

We tasted wildflower honey, orange and soft herbal tea notes, creating a cup that is sweet, floral, and gently lingering with a calming finish.

Long Miles Coffee Project has built a reputation for long-term partnerships with Burundian producers, focusing on agronomy support, sustainability, and quality-driven processing. Bukeye Hills is designed to express the collective work of this network, a coffee that feels representative of the region year after year rather than a one-off experiment.

All our coffees are sold as whole beans.
